Staff

All engines and buildings require staff (Crew) to be constructed and to operate. Without staff these constructs are doomed to float in the void of space or get covered in dust until they are lost to the mists of time. As of version 3.0 the staff requirement is fulfilled by the "Settlers" resource, though this is expected to change in future releases.

Obtaining Settlers

Settlers can be obtained by one of two methods:

• Output from cities within your empire.
• Included in specific engine purchase from Imperial bases.

The list of ships that include crew when purchased is as follows:

Vibz - 1750

Constructor - 500

Shuttle - 2500

Fleet factory - 100000
